Job Details:
Our client is a major environmental and engineering consultancy in the UK. They are a growing company looking for skilled individuals to help grow and develop their associated renewables teams.

The right individual for this role will need expertise in HV system design and a good understanding of the GB transmission / distribution networks and wind turbine electrical characteristics. Knowledge of other renewable technologies would also be beneficial.

Key responsibilities will include providing technical support, business development. sales and service development, preparation of proposals, project delivery and staff management.

Requirements:
- Solid background in all aspects of HV distribution (Up to 132kv)
- Knowledge of the regulatory aspects of electrical Grid integration of renewable energy projects.
- Wind farm, GB Transmission System and GB Grid Code experience would be beneficial.
- Experience of negotiating with DNOs, equipment specification and power system protection.
- Driving license
