Job Details:
Administer the disposition elements of the NREL Property Management program and provide
Property Management support to NREL/DOE staff and external organizations.
Job Duties
- Administer NREL’s Property Disposition, Precious Metals and Equipment
Held for Future Projects Programs.
- Coordinate the property transfer functions with DOE/GO, DOE and GSA disposition
program participants, school districts and NREL subcontractors.
- Review, interpret and ensure compliance with the Federal and DOE Property
Management Regulations.
- Develop and update the applicable processes and procedures.
- Maintain the Oracle Fixed Assets Module, DOE/Energy Asset Disposal System,
DOE/Used Energy Related Laboratory Equipment System, GSAXcess Disposal System, DOE
Computers for Learning Equipment Gift Program and generate the required reports for
submittal to DOE/GO.
Required Education and Experience
Relevant Associate's degree or certification program and 4 years experience or equivalent
relevant education/experience.
Preferred Qualifications
5 years inventory control experience. Knowledge of property management functions requiring
compliance with the Federal and DOE Property Management Regulations. Strong problem
solving, project management and organizational skills with an attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Advanced skills in
computer applications to include Oracle and various software packages. Ability to lift 70
lbs routinely and 100 lbs occasionally. Good driving record with the ability to maintain a
Commercial Drivers License. Ability to drive fork lifts.
