Description
Itron is looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk with the ability to build strong
relationships with both internal and external customers. The primary responsibility of
this role is collections and managing customer accounts. This role will be tasked with
having to call on customer receivable accounts, researching and responding to customer
inquiries, preparing invoices, posting ledger entries, and filing. Daily responsibilities
will also include the use of office automated systems to input data, generating reports,
conducting specialized research projects, and responding to inquiries. The ideal candidate
will have a keen attention to detail, excellent people skills, and a background in general
accounting. It is also key to have basic MS Excel knowledge and experience running Oracle
queries is preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Accounts receivable collections and managing customer accounts.
- Maintaining documentation regarding customer contact in Oracle.
- General administrative duties
Qualifications
- Experience: Requires a minimum of 1 year of related experience. 2-3 years of
related experience is preferred.
- General Accounting background is highly preferred.
- Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Associate Degree in Accounting is
desired.
- Travel Requirements: Less than 10%
