The Front End Java developer will be responsible for the development and improvement of new and existing web applications. This position will focus on front-end development and creation of user interface screens. Develop functional prototypes to demonstrate interactive concepts. Create reusable user interface elements (object pickers, date range pickers, drag and drop lists, etc).

Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the development and improvement of new and existing web applications.
Focus on front-end development and creation of user interface screens.
Develop functional prototypes to demonstrate interactive concepts.
Creating reusable user interface elements (object pickers, date range pickers, drag and drop lists, etc)

Core Skills
General UI background (Information architecture, site flow, accessibility, browser capabilities, etc)
Strong knowledge of Client-side web technologies (JavaScript, AJAX, DHTML, CSS)
Strong OO design and development with relationship to User Interface Development
Strong knowledge with at least one of the following MVC frameworks (Spring, Struts, JSF, Seam)
Strong knowledge of at least one of the following technologies (JSF, JSP/ Servlet, Adobe Flex)
Strong knowledge in one of the following J2EE Application Server (JBoss, Websphere, WebLogic, Tomcat)
Strong SQL knowledge
Proven track record of building large scale software systems or Enterprise Applications
Experience with Hibernate or EJB3 is preferred
Ability to tune performance on Web Interface, create fast loading pages
Experience with enabling web content for I18N and L10N

Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills
Must be able to make independent decisions and be effective with minimal supervision
Must be able to pick up on concepts and technology quickly
Must have good communication skills and be able to work and communicate effectively in a small team
