Description:

The program manager will lead, inspire and deliver one or more new product lines into new markets, including emerging markets in the developing world. Specifically, the purpose of the job will be to coordinate activities required to develop and launch a commercially viable product based on company’s clean power fuel cell technology. This will involve interfacing with the engineering, operations and commercial teams, customers, partners and suppliers throughout the various stages of the product development lifecycle and commercialization process.



The program of work will be planned, executed, and controlled in accordance with company best practice directives.



Responsibilities:

- Definition & management of program tasks throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure that the delivery & quality of product meets customer requirements and company’s business requirements

- Manage the program through the full product lifecycle via implementation of program team global resource management

- Negotiate contracts required to bring product to market and support product in service, including contracts with suppliers (both goods and services), partners and customers

- Negotiate with local authorities when applicable to obtain permits required for installation and operation of products and services offered by IE, its subsidiaries and/or partners

- Ensure the Product Road Map is kept current and that program plans and product introduction timeframes are consistent

- “Market Requirements” capture & definition, “Product Introduction Plan & Execution”, “Product Pricing Strategy”

- Through coordination with company ops & 3rd parties (JV partners, CMOs etc) ensure resources, equipment & materials are in place to meet customer delivery schedules

- Commit to extended periods of overseas travel (India, China etc), in order to oversee plant deployment, management of CMOs etc in conjunction with company ops staff, 3rd parties etc.

- With business development team, identify & progress new commercial opportunities for product line.

- Accountable for program management in accordance with company Best Practice: Develop and maintain program plans including resource planning, Create & maintain program work breakdown structure Allocation of budget & tasks Monitor program performance. Manage program change control Presentation of development status both internally & externally
