Salary range £22-£28,000 and benefits



You will be working across multiple projects in the marine renewable and water sectors. Your work will involve the assessment of the coastal impact of marine developments (e.g. offshore wind farms) and the impact of pollution (e.g. discharges to sea). Your analysis will be related to the requirements of both engineering design and environmental regulation and you will be preparing technical data and reports to support your analysis.

Typically, you will be a member of a number of small project teams and will be working closely with project managers and leading technical experts in the field. Each project will have different requirements and emphasis, so you will need to be adaptable and have the ability to think creatively to develop solutions for our clients.



Qualifications: MSc or PhD preferred but a strong BSc will also be considered from a Science or engineering discipline. Applications to coastal science (e.g. oceanography) would be advantageous but are not essential.



Requirements: Must have strong skills in complex numerical analysis and running computer models.

You must have an interest in environmental issues and coastal developments.

An interest and knowledge of the coastal activities or one or more of the following industries would be advantageous: Water, Renewable energy, Oil & Gas.



In addition, must have strong interpersonal skills and enthused by working with, and learning from others and must be able to construct coherent argument and have strong communication and consultative skills.
