Salary rate - £30-£40,000 and benefits


Our client has a number of exciting projects in the Oil and Gas, Cables and Renewables sectors. Due to this growing demand for their services, we are looking for a Consultant Geoscientist.


We are looking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Geoscientist to join the Site Investigation and Survey group. The candidate must be able to actively contribute to and drive forward the delivery and development of our clients services across its core business sectors, including oil and gas, renewables (wind, tidal and current), and marine fibre optic and power cables.


Key requirements:

· 5+ years’ experience of offshore geophysics or geotechnical engineering

· Thorough understanding of data acquisition techniques and interpretative reporting

· Excellent ability in technical reporting

· Knowledge and understanding of current site investigation standards

· Either experience of project management, or experience of fulfilling a senior role on board a vessel

· Good working knowledge and understanding of the energy sector

· Ability to work independently, and as part of a team

· Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients; and

· A pro-active and dynamic approach to working.
