Job Details:
Our client delivers to their customers solutions for CO2-free energy production. As world
market leader in the field of nuclear energy they offer a unique, integrated performance
spectrum. It covers the complete fuel cycle, construction, planning and building of
reactors as well as appropriate services. Moreover, the company enforces its engagement in
the field of renewable energies (wind, solar, and bioenergy, hydrogen). The aim is to be
one of the three global leading companies on this sector until 2012.
We are searching for someone who has already made his / her experience in planning and
developing a new production site in the UK. The plan is that the Industrial Project
Manager will take the part of the plant and production manager after the first phase of
development and build up of the new site.
Your responsibilities:
- Feed into the short listing of locations
- Coordinate local team effort on site selection
- Prepare industrialisation plan for the board
- Negotiate lease of port area
- Construction of production facility Execute production ramp up plan with German
Operations Managing Director
- Building an execution team around you
- Build up suitable work force
- Working closely with German Operations Managing Director
- Work closely with supply base coordinator and main German procurement team
- Supporting full scale production
Your qualifications:
- Master/ Bachelor Degree in engineering or another adequate education
- Experience in Wind industry / Offshore preferable
- Large scale project management with on time delivery
- Good negotiation skills
- Personal management skills
- Clear communicator
- Team player
- Mobility
- UK wind supply chain knowledge
- Knowledge of UK Round 3 developers
- Language skills (German and or French) preferable
