Salary Euro’s 70-80,000 + package

Our client is a leading manufacturer of innovative products and solutions in the thin - film Solar Photovoltaics sector and is heavily involved in the Abu Dhabi multi - faceted future energy initiative instigated from and wholly owned by the Mubadala Development Company. This is a far-reaching, trendsetting investment by the Emirate Abu Dhabi with the goal to advance the development, commercialization and deployment of renewable and alternative energy technologies and solutions.

The Abu Dhabi Future Energy company (ADFEC) is wholly owned by the government of Abu Dhabi through the Mubadala Development Company. In January 2008, Abu Dhabi published the report to invest into the Masdar project altogether 15 billion US Dollars - the largest single investment of this kind world-wide.

For our clients new production facility In Ichtershausen, Germany we are seeking a Senior Product Manager with at least five years experience in the are of Solar PV Modules


Responsibility for central product lines at home and abroad
Responsibility for the strategic and operational care of the innovative solar product lines.
Development of market analyses, business plans, Product roadmap, technical as well as commercial sales documentation
Production of specifications and requirements for new products within the field of module and system technology
Generate new product ideas and concepts, planning and realisation of product introductions and phase – out
Availability to support sales colleagues if required
Operational interface between the Sales, marketing, development, supply chain and Purchase with regards product portfolio / products
Representation of the company on seminars & exhibitions


Outstanding university degree in Business Administration and / or technical focus
Minimum of 5 years experience in sales of technical products and product management in the solar industry, ideally in the area of PV modules
Business fluent in German and English, further foreign languages desirable
Sound technical and BA know how with high technical affinity
Strong interpersonal skills and customer orientation
Outstanding communication skills and proven negotiation and presentation skills, capability to work independently, self motivated, team oriented
Entrepreneurial thinking and acting
Goal and solution-oriented work style
