Solar CSP/PV Tech Due Diligence Expert (3 month project in Uganda), ref 1105-3



Project:

Renewable energy (wind & solar) feasibility study in Uganda commissioned by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development and funded by the US Trade & Development Agency.



Scope:

Seven sites are being studied in the country at present.



Role(s):



. 1 Consultant expert in solar resource assessment, particularly CSP, preferably with operations experience.

. Potentially 1 Consultant expert in CSP operations if the other consultant does not have that experience required.



Logistics:

. 3 months assignment starting mid July 2011.

. The candidate can be of any nationality and will work from home in cooperation with the rest of the team in the US.

. Possible on-site travel if it adds value to the study, however there is a local team in place to provide technical support.
