Our client is part of a large Japanese group and is a rapidly growing internationally
operating company in the area of Solar Photovoltaics with its headquarters in Berlin,
Germany. They offer
services in all project development phases. They carry out the planning, financing and
realization of freestanding solar power plants in the megawatt class, and via their
subsidiary, they provide the
associated technical and commercial management as well as quality assurance.
Currently the company is active on the markets of six European countries: Italy, Spain,
Czech Republic, Slovakia, UK and Germany. So far they have developed large scale PV power
plants with a total output of more than 100 MW. It is the groups aim to build a large
number of solar power plants in the coming years, thus making a significant contribution
to the production of environmentally friendly electricity.
To strengthen our team at the Berlin Headquarters, we are looking at the earliest possible
date for a
Senior Project Developer - Europe
Scope of tasks:
· Leading a team of area specialists for the acquisition and securing of
large-scale ground mounted and rooftop PV systems in GER, ES, IT, CZ, SK and UK
· Preparation, negotiation and conclusion of EPC-contracts, project development
contracts, lease agreements, share purchase agreements, etc.
· Assistance in licensing of PV power plants as well as negotiations with public
authorities and utilities
· Profitability analysis, feasibility study and risk assessment
· Coordination and alignment with the Technical, Project Finance and Project
Management Department
· Continuous market analysis and find new business partners
· Preparation of new markets
Your profile:
· University degree in economics or engineering
· Experience with land use and development plans, construction application
procedures, including laws and regulations
· Valuable skills in acquisition, contract negotiation and networking
· Good presentation techniques and interpersonal abilities; good verbal and written
communication skills
· Analytical adjustment; dynamic, autonomous, result-oriented and creative
personality
· Profound experience in managing several projects simultaneously
· Willingness to travel
· Good knowledge of Business English in speaking and writing
· Excellent knowledge of MS-Office
Position: Full time (40 h)
Reporting Structure:
The holder of the position reports directly to the Managing Director.
