We are looking for an exceptional Regional Controller to manage the European operations in all aspects of financial administration based out of the office 1hr's drive from Stuttgart, Strasbourg and Zurich.



Reporting directly into Canada, the primarily responsibility of the Regional Controller is to ensure accurate and timely financial records are maintained and in compliance with all external financial reporting, internal control standards and local taxation requirements and obligations.

This position is instrumental in the growing operations in Europe. The right candidate will have the opportunity to obtain a broad range of experience working in a global publicly listed company. Including involvement in the development and implementation of financial control and processes of new operations as the company grows.



Qualifications:

> Bachelor, Master, Diploma-Degree preferably with special subjects: auditing and financial accounting. Wirtschaftspruefer or Chartered Accountant certification is desired

> 5+ years of relevant Solar industrial experience, manager level with supervisory experience

> Solid knowledge and work experience with IFRS and specific requirements for public companies

> Ability to maintain accounting books based on IFRS and German GAAP/HGB with proven track record in process development and improvement

> Strong international reporting and documentations skills.

> Excellent communication skills with experience in dealing with auditing firms, tax authorities, clients and vendors

> Highly motivated self-starter and enjoy working in a team environment

> Manufacturing and project accounting experience will be an asset

> Preferably solid auditing experience with international exposure, with one of the big four auditing firms

> Strong and firm, non-authoritative leader with integrity, empathy, and high standards for self and others

> Fluent in both English and German



Salary: c 60,000 euro
