1. Executive Summary

Our major Chinese client is a new established company focusing on green energy power industry. Their business coverage includes design, manufacturing and sales of electrics power, switching power, inverter, converter, UPS, frequency converter and relative equipments and systems. Their PV product family covers residential rooftop, commercial rooftop, utility, accessories and monitoring system.



2. We are looking for a technical support engineer for the European region, you will report to the manager, after-sales team.



Responsibilities and requirements for the position.

Technical Support Engineer - Europe

Report to: Manager, after-sales team

Location: Munich, Germany

• Support and coordinate local after-sales service forces and participate at technical support and after-sales service work

• Provide in-depth technical support to customers in specific countries in Europe

• Response quickly toward customer’s requests and provide effective solutions accordingly

• Communicate closely with the Shanghai HQ, reflect promptly market and customers’ requests, follow and support problem resolving and increase customers’ satisfaction

• Work together with sales and quality team to follow up customers’ quality complaints, support failure root cause analysis and solution and feedback promptly to design and operation team

• Feedback to sales manager and marketing team on possible new applications for existing products and new product developments

• Manage spare inverters and parts, and support logistics

• Join and support exhibitions, customer seminars and other product promotion activities in Europe

Requirements:

• Based in Germany, fluent in German and English both speaking and writing

• Bachelor’s or above degree in power electronics and relative major

• At least 2 years working experience in power electronics and relative industries (PV inverter, UPS, high frequency converter, etc). Preferable in maintenance, service, design or technical support related working experiences

• Familiarity with various DC/AC, DC-DC, AC/DC converting technologies

• Can effectively present and communicate with customers on technical concepts and proposals

• Ability to work independently

• High level of drive and commitment toward achieving goals

• Good interpersonal skill to work well with customers and internal teams

• Cross-culturally competent – global view of the world

• Teamwork and hard working

Personal:

• The position is located in Munich, Germany;

• Frequent travelling worldwide is required;

The candidate can be an expatriated Chinese national, as well as a European and/or American staying in Europe.

In terms of remuneration, depending upon age, experience and qualification, an annual gross target salary of about 40,000-50,000 Euro is available.
