Job Description:
Contribute to the achievement of the company’s financial and strategic goals by developing, analyzing, and communicating energy market information, including, but not limited to, the renewable energy sector. Market information will be gathered primarily from secondary sources and occasionally from primary sources and will include industry, competitor, customer, partner, utility, regulatory, political (federal, state, local), and product information/research.

Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead analysis of competitive and market intelligence in support of Business Development activities
- Identify, gather, sort, prioritize and analyze pertinent data; manage database of renewable energy industry trends and activities
- Assist Project Development in developing and maintaining database of financial, business, and industry activities; monitor and report on competitive information
- Evaluate industry trends and technologies for renewable energy business
- Perform various administrative duties

Education:

- Undergraduate degree in a technical or business related field including, but not limited to, economics, math, market research, finance, statistics, marketing, engineering
- MBA preferred


Skills:

- Microsoft products – including Access and Microsoft Project (experience required)
- Salesforce.com
- Database management software
- Web-based information sources
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

Experience:

- 3-5 years in database management, market analysis and assessment or market research capacity
- Energy industry experience required (renewable preferred)

You must be eligible to work in the US independent of company sponsorship.
